From June 01 to 02, 2023, the IMPGT was delighted to welcome 20 international doctoral students for cross-doctoral workshops.
The result of a collaboration between 3 institutes specializing in public administration: the IMPGT (Aix-Marseille University), the IDHEAP (University of Lausanne) and the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute of KU Leuven, since 2018 these workshops have enabled them to reflect on their first years of their thesis.
This year, one specific workshop was dedicated to a publication project on place branding piloted by Martial Pasquier, Vincent Mabillard, Christophe Alaux and Laura Carmouze. A more general workshop enabled doctoral students to present their thesis topics and obtain feedback from their professors. Finally, doctoral students were able to approach the professors present for individual interviews.
In addition to the 3 institutes behind this collaboration, the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management of the Université libre de Bruxelles, a partner in the CIVIS alliance, was also keen to get involved in these exchanges.
