IMPGT is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special anniversary party!

July 16, 2026

The IMPGT celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Jardins d'Albertas! 250 guests gathered for this anniversary, marking three decades of history, commitment, and training in the service of public policy.
Much more than just a celebration, this evening was a true reunion. Former students, graduates, faculty, staff, and partners shared their memories and expressed the deep connection that binds them to IMPGT, illustrating the values that have defined its identity since its founding: collaboration, camaraderie, trust, quality, and solidarity.

Speeches by Eric Berton, president of Aix-Marseille University; Christophe Alaux, director of IMPGT; and our alumna Lisa Teyssier highlighted the progress made since 1996, its role in educating generations of students, and its commitment to supporting transformations in public policy.

Among the highlights of the evening, guests were introduced to three projects conceived by third-year Public Administration students as part of the Service Learning program:
- the students’ performance of the anthem “Welcome to the IMPGT” during the open mic session
- the exhibition “30 Years, 30 Moments,” tracing the major milestones in IMPGT’s history
- the “Explor’IMPGT” game, which allowed participants to (re)discover, in a fun way, the behind-the-scenes stories, anecdotes, and memorable moments in the life of IMPGT.

A big thank you to everyone who attended for sharing this symbolic moment and for contributing, each in their own way, to writing the history of IMPGT.
