A look back at the 15th AIRMAP 2026 symposium, co-organized by IMPGT and Cergam

June 3, 2026

On May 27, 28 and 29, the IMPGT and CERGAM had the pleasure of co-organizing the AIRMAP 2026 symposium at the Ferry site in Aix-en-Provence.
This new scientific meeting brought together over 250 researchers, doctoral students and practitioners around the theme: "Knowledge and intelligence for public action in the face of transitions".

Over three days, participants shared their work and experiences through 7 doctoral workshops, 29 thematic workshops representing over 200 papers, 3 plenary lectures and 1 international round table.

These exchanges provided an opportunity to cross academic and professional perspectives on contemporary transformations in public action, in a spirit of dialogue and collaboration true to the values of the AIRMAP network.

The gala dinner held at the Aquabella was a highlight of the symposium, providing an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in a convivial setting. The evening also saw the presentation of the AIRMAP 2026 thesis awards.

Congratulations to the winners:
- AIRMAP 2026 thesis prize: Alexandre Salvatori
- Thierry Garrot Prize: Baptiste Leroy-Capel, Ph.D and Julie Cardi (ex aequo)
- Olivier Kéramidas Award: Alexandre CAMINO
- Best paper prize: Cécile RAPHOZ, Koudia Guèye and Elise Marcandella ex aequo with Zilacene Dekli, Laurine Basse and Marius Bertolucci
