The IMPGT's Chair of Attractiveness and New Territorial Marketing celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Place Marketing Forum 2022, held in Grenoble on April 14 and 15.
This special edition of the great meeting of territorial marketing and attractiveness brought together no less than 240 participants from all over the world to discuss the new challenges facing territories: tourism, residential attractiveness, attracting investors, sustainable transition, health and well-being as well as the governance of attractiveness initiatives. All these themes were addressed by experts and speakers from international territories, including the participation of the cities of Stockholm, Porto, Barcelona, Vienna and Amsterdam, as well as French territories such as the department of La Manche, Bordeaux, Lyon, and the region of Brittany.
The two days of the event were punctuated by several animations. This edition was marked by the organization of the very first PMF EDUCTOUR on the theme "Grenoble European Green Capital 2022". This was a great introduction to the subject of territorial attractiveness, and a unique opportunity to discover the Isère metropolis from a new angle. Other highlights included a networking evening at the Grenoble Museum, the city's flagship venue, on the theme of "Keeping your body and mind in motion", supported by the Grenoble Alpes brand.
The 2022 edition was rich in sharing and encounters, two of the foundations of the forum's DNA. It was also an opportunity for the Chair and its partners to reflect on future developments in territorial marketing. Professionals and enthusiasts of attractiveness will certainly continue to discover these perspectives during the next editions of the PMF.
