Gender & Public Management Day: the role of managers in the fight against discrimination

November 18, 2022

The Gender & Public Management day was held on November 9 at the IMPGT and aimed to develop the issue of the role of managers in the fight against discrimination.

Nearly 150 people attended the morning conference, during which Reine Prat, a senior civil servant and author of the book Exploser le plafond (exploding the ceiling), gave a testimony that was widely praised by the audience. Several initiatives and devices were presented, such as the actions of the association Flag!, Piano&co, Eclosion 13, the City of Marseille, students of the Master's degree Management and law of cultural organizations and events or the Safer application deployed by the festival Marsatac.

Co-construction workshops took place in the afternoon to produce keys to understanding and managing situations that could be discriminatory, and a graphic fresco was used to restore and preserve the day's contributions for a lasting exhibition in the IMPGT premises.
