Immersion in the Spanish healthcare system for MESS Master's students

June 20, 2025

From June 11 to 13, for the 3ᵉ year running, students in the Master 2 Public Management course Management of health and social establishments (MESS) went on an immersive trip to the Spanish healthcare system, in Majorca.

The 13 apprentices were able to visit several of the island's EHPADs, meeting and exchanging views with facility directors, including Philippe Morin, Director of Clariane Espagne, Bel Maria Pascual Sureda, Territorial Director for the Balearic Islands, and María Magdalena Crespí Seguí, Director of EHPAD Sant Joan.

By meeting and exchanging views with the management of these establishments, they were able to share their views on the challenges facing the medical-social sector in Spain, while at the same time gaining an enriching insight into international management models and the realities of running medical-social establishments.

This trip was organized in collaboration with Korian/Clariane and was supported by Formasup Méditerranée.
