Since 2016, the International Place Branding Association has been organising a conference in a city of the world every year. After London (2016), Swansea (2017), Macau (2018), Volos (2019) and Barcelona (2021), the IPBA has chosen for 2022 Aix-en-Provence and the premises of the IMPGT!
This 3-day conference will bring together nearly 150 researchers and practitioners who will present studies, theories and case studies on territorial marketing issues. It offers them a unique meeting place. In doing so, it contributes to strengthening the professionalism and expertise of the discipline. More than ever, territories are faced with multiple issues to which territorial marketing can respond in whole or in part.

About theInternational Place Branding Association - IPBA
The International Place Branding Association (IPBA), created in 2016, is a non-profit association that brings together researchers, practitioners and anyone interested in branding and territorial marketing issues (cities, regions, countries or sites).
Its main mission is to highlight territorial marketing issues and to strengthen this field of study by increasing its visibility and recognition, particularly on an international scale, among experts, operational staff and academics, as well as within public institutions and private structures competent in territorial development. In order to improve standards and professional practices, the IPBA association offers its members an important international network and a place to debate and exchange on the evolution of knowledge and new practices/experiences in territorial marketing.
