Students in the Master’s program in Public Management, Quality, and Societal Risk Management (MQGRS) were welcomed by the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) 13 for an educational visit focused on the information systems used in emergency response and rescue operations.
At the SDIS operations center, they learned about the essential tools used to handle emergency calls (18/112) and coordinate response operations across the region.
This immersive experience also provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with the rollout of the new NexSIS system and the digital infrastructure that supports emergency response operations.
