Training presentation
This DESU (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Universitaires), created in partnership between the IMPGT's Chaire attractivité et nouveau marketing territorial and the Club des Managers de Centre-ville, is aimed at students and managers wishing to train for positions as business managers in a city center, town or wider region. The acquisition of managerial, legal and leadership skills offered by academic and professional lecturers enables students to specialize in a field related to territorial attractiveness, public management, territorial management or commercial management.

Objectives
- Train professionals capable of energizing and revitalizing territories in the face of contemporary challenges
- Acquire skills in project management, planning and urban development
- Develop strategies to promote the local economy and local commerce
- Promote initiatives that enhance the quality of life of local residents, particularly through cultural and social activities
- Integrate principles of sustainability and social responsibility into urban development
- Encourage collaboration between public, private and civic players for effective downtown management
- Encourage innovative solutions to contemporary urban challenges

Target audience
This DESU is aimed at holders of a Bac +4, engineering degree, Master 1 and professionals with at least 5 years' experience in the public sector, urban planning, commerce or economic development.

Skills
On completion of the DESU, the professional skills acquired will enable you to effectively manage and coordinate territorial attractiveness in general, and the revitalization of town centers in particular.
Graduates will be able to design and manage urban projects, while bringing together the various local players, such as elected representatives, shopkeepers and citizens. They will master strategies for boosting local trade, by improving the attractiveness of city centers through territorial marketing initiatives and events. The management of public spaces and urban mobility will also be part of his or her remit, as will the integration of sustainable development principles into urban planning. Finally, he/she will be able to adapt to local regulations and seize the opportunities offered by public schemes to successfully lead local development projects.

Training organization
The course lasts 13 weeks, with a total of 225 teaching hours.
Some courses are shared with those of the Master 2 "Attractiveness and New Territorial Marketing", part of the IMPGT's Public Management program. -

Admission requirements
This DESU is open to candidates with a Bac+4 degree, or equivalent professional experience.
