"Designing public management differently", the new collective work of the IMPGT research team

April 11, 2023

The new collective work of the IMPGT research team "Dessiner le management public autrement : bilan et perspectives" published by Presses Universitaires d'Aix-Marseille Université éditions PUP, collection Espaces Publics has just been released.

In 280 pages, the 25 contributors, under the direction of Solange Hernandez, Sophie Lamouroux and Edina Soldo, decipher public management, a field in perpetual movement where a certain disorganization is observed. However, misunderstanding leads to powerlessness and feeds democratic, decision-making, budgetary or human dysfunctions.

This book is based on numerous bibliographical references and several field studies. The points of view and the words of the actors occupy a substantial place in it. All those interested in public management, and obviously managers, will find here concrete avenues for reflection and action, to help them in their daily work.

The contributors : Christophe Alaux, Djelloul Arezki, Laurine Basse, Laura Beton-Athmani, Marius Bertolucci, Nadia Boulmakoul, Laura Carmouze, Mathilde Dougados, Céline du Boys, Thomas Eisinger, Camille Fiore, Léonard Gourbier, Marcel Guenoun, Markolf Jossou, Bérénice Kubler, Emmanuelle Moustier, Raphaële Peres, Thomas Reynoird, Audrey Rivière, Khaled Sabouné, Anaïs Saint Jonsson, Sarah Serval, Bruno Tiberghien, Emil Turc, Flore Tissone.
