Laura Beton Athmani, wins the 2nd prize for her thesis from the City of Marseille

A doctorate in management science, she defended her thesis at the IMPGT in December 2021. "A contre-sens : lorsque les individus et les collectifs transgressent en vue de créer et maintenir du sens dans leur travail. A research-action within a Reception Center for Asylum Seekers" under the direction of Professor Robert Fouchet and Professor Ariel Mendez.

On Monday, December 5, 2022, she was awarded the 2nd prize for her thesis by the City of Marseille in the theme of social and democracy, during an official ceremony attended by the President of Aix-Marseille University, Mr. Eric Berton.

Since 2021, the City of Marseille has been awarding a prize for the most exemplary theses defended by doctoral students enrolled at Aix-Marseille University, according to themes predefined by the City Council. In 2022, the five themes selected were: Social and Democracy, Ecology and Sustainable Development, The Mediterranean, Life and Health Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

Laura Beton Athmani was also awarded the thesis prize of the Association pour la Recherche Interdisciplinaire sur le Management des Entreprises in November 2022.
