Presentation of the meeting

The IMPGT wishes to promote meetings, sharing and exchanges between professionals, teachers-researchers and students around social innovation and diversity. To this end, it will host the 16th International Meeting on Diversity (RID) and the 38th Summer University on Social Audit on 7 and 8 October 2021, in Aix-en-Provence.

The various current crises (health, social, economic, environmental, political, etc.) show the need to rethink the functioning of public, private and semi-public structures. Faced with these observations, the postulate is as follows: diversity and social innovation are levers of performance for organizations . Indeed, they encourage the emergence of new managerial practices, which are innovative solutions to contemporary problems.

16th International Meeting on Diversity (RID) - Association les Défis de la Diversité

This project, born in 2004, by the will of Professor Jean-Marie PERETTI, aims to determine the stakes of "diversity", in the company, the organizations and the society. This event has become a reference in the promotion of diversity. Each year, it attracts more and more HRDs and diversity and CSR directors for the reflection that is carried out on the strategic issues of diversity management in companies, organizations and society.

38th Summer University of Social Audit - International Institute of Social Audit

Each year, the IAS Summer School offers members and non-members, commissioning professionals, social and institutional actors, events that explore the state of the art on a particular theme related to social auditing.

Discover Aix-en-Provence

Former residence of the Counts of Provence, the city of Aix-en-Provence is known for its rich heritage and the charm of its sunny streets. The Cours Mirabeau is certainly the most emblematic place in Aix-en-Provence: a former carriage court, with many cafés where you can stroll. Look at the buildings around you, some are very prestigious. The atlantes of number 38 which support a balcony of the commercial court are impressive! At the bottom of the Cours Mirabeau, you will find the Rotonde, a large fountain built to celebrate the arrival of water from the Zola Canal (built by Emile Zola's father) in Aix-en-Provence. To the south of the Cours Mirabeau, you can discover the Mazarin district, named after the cardinal who had it built in the 17th century, which is characterized by numerous private mansions. In particular, you can discover the Place des Quatre-Dauphins, which has a beautiful baroque-style fountain and borders one of the most beautiful private mansions in Aix-en-Provence, where Alain Delon likes to stay during his films in the region. Nearby is the Granet museum, famous for its monumental format of Ingres, the famous Bathers of Cézanne or its room dedicated to the genius of Giacometti. Modern art lovers can visit the annex of this museum which exhibits the collection of Jean Planque in a chapel of the Pénitents blancs: Picasso, Dubuffet, Klee, Braques or Monet are honoured there! To take a break after all these visits, you can go and taste a pastry or calissons at Weibel, a great Aix house. You can also go and stroll on the Habermas square, famous for the ironworks which decorate the balconies of the buildings. Going up, you will find the town hall on a very lively square where many Aix inhabitants share a drink. Opposite the Hotel Boyer de Fonscolombe, where the Institute of Public Management and Territorial Governance is located, you will see the premises of the Festival d'Art Lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence, which offers open-air opera performances that are renowned throughout France. If you continue up the rue Gaston de Saporta, you will come to the Saint-Sauveur cathedral which, due to numerous alterations, brings together a multitude of architectural styles. Here you can admire Nicolas Froment's altarpiece The Burning Bush, which weighs almost half a ton! If you haven't yet satisfied your desire for heritage, visit the Pavillon Vendôme surrounded by its beautiful French garden, less than ten minutes' walk from the Institut de Management Public et Gouvernance Territoriale.
