Training presentation
The Bachelor's degree in Public Administration is an interdisciplinary program combining courses in law, economics and management, with a special focus on the humanities and information and communication sciences. It aims to prepare students for careers dedicated to the public interest, in public, semi-public or private organizations working for the common good and present in many sectors essential to society (culture, health, safety, environment, etc.).
— Licence 1 - core curriculum: focuses on the general and specific environment of the public sector in law-economics-management, extended to the social sciences.
— Licence 2 - core curriculum: takes a more in-depth look at the public sector environment and its changes, and introduces management functions (human resources, accounting, finance, marketing, communication) and tools
— Licence 3 - 2 courses offered at the IMPGT (traditional or sandwich courses): provide a global and sector-based vision of contemporary public management, and delve more deeply into management tools in a French and international context.

Success and career guidance - professional integration
Helping students to succeed:
A number of measures are in place to help students succeed, including a pedagogical manager and 2 tutors (IMPGT doctoral students) who provide individual support to students throughout their academic year
— Student tutoring: The IMPGT offers Licence 1 and 2 students peer tutoring (Licence 3 and Masters students). This scheme helps students to better understand how university and higher education work, to acquire the right methodology and to revise courses. It is organized in small groups of students, and can be carried out face-to-face and/or remotely, depending on needs and the course
— Intensive courses: The IMPGT offers students online courses enabling them to reinforce their skills at their own pace and according to their level. This is the case, for example, with the Ecri+ program for written French. These tools can be integrated into courses, or students can take them on their own. The pedagogical engineer can help you get to grips with these digital devices and define your objectives.
Career guidance - professional integration:
Conferences are organized every year where students are invited to meet Master 2 students or students in remarkable professional situations. This unique opportunity will enable them to better project themselves in their academic and professional life.
Around 190 hours of training are devoted to the student's personal and professional project over the course of 3 years. Through lectures and tutorials, as well as themed days featuring innovative teaching activities, students are encouraged to question their project and develop the tools and methods needed to find a job (internship/job search methodology, skills assessment, CVs, cover letters, pitches, etc.).
